There are many differences between LifeWorks Matchmaking services and typical dating services. The primary differences are a dating service allows members to choose their matches. And, a dating service allows anyone to join.

Dating services recruit as many people as possible.

At LifeWorks, not everyone qualifies as a client. We are highly selective and are careful only to take on a client relationship when we are relatively certain we, thus you, can be successful. If we believe we will have a very hard time matching you, or your expectations are unrealistic, we cannot ethically accept you as a client. Additionally, we only accept exceptional, professional individuals who meet strict selection criteria in the areas of appearance, education, lifestyle, and accomplishment. Thus, we are not for everyone.

Dating services allow anyone to sign up on line and there is no pre-screening.

At LifeWorks Matchmaking, our process is personal and highly selective. Unlike other services, we conduct in-person interviews with every single person we represent. All clients complete an extensive profile and background check.

Dating services know no boundaries ­ anyone can find you, contact you.

Our service is confidential and discreet. We have no on-line photo gallery, no ability for anyone to "cruise" our clients, and your information is never shared with anyone without your knowledge and consent. No one will know you've selected a personal matchmaker to assist you in finding the love of your life unless you tell them.

With a dating service, once you've paid your fee, you're on your own and it's up to you to find someone in the bottomless sea of candidates.

At LifeWorks, our job begins once you've been accepted as a client. It is up to your matchmaker to personally arrange the introduction of only qualified matches that meet your exact criteria and to remain close to you for feedback and coaching throughout the process.

Dating services do not provide relationship coaching. There is no opportunity for figuring out what is going right, wrong, or what can be done differently next time.

LifeWorks provides expert one-on-one relationship coaching and feedback to assist our clients in being the best relationship partner they can be! We'll meet with you as often as you desire to help you uncover your style, preferences, goals and relationship objectives while working with you on your interpersonal and communication skills, image, presence and other areas of personal development, if needed.
